A Mexican court has thrown out a warning about the potential dangers of buying a drug from a Mexican doctor to avoid the risks of an estimated one-third of the nation's baldness cases.
Rafael Jesus-Baldon, a doctor in the country, said the drug sold at the doctor's offices was an "easy way to get your hair cut" and warned that it could lead to permanent loss of hair.
"This drug could harm you and your hair if not for proper consultation," he said. "You should never buy a fake hair treatment. Don't buy it from someone else. This is a real product from a different company."
He said a Mexican doctor has been prescribed a prescription by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for several men who have been suffering from male pattern baldness.
The FDA's review found that the doctor prescribed the drug for patients with hereditary hair loss who are otherwise healthy, but were experiencing problems that led to hair loss at the time.
"We are concerned about this potential use of this drug by patients with hereditary hair loss," Jesus-Baldon said.
The FDA advised the nation's doctors to take the drug only as directed by a doctor. The doctor will then be required to explain the risks to the patient to the doctor.
He said the risks were similar to other hair loss drugs.
The FDA's review was prompted by a report from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which said that more than 3,000 patients in the U. were being treated with the drug for the first time and that the number of men who were experiencing male pattern baldness increased in the last decade.
The FDA said the study found that the drugs "tend to have the same risks as prescription drugs, including some of the same side effects."
The drug can cause permanent baldness, as well as loss of hair in men and women, and can have a serious effect on the scalp. The FDA's review noted that the drugs are used only under the supervision of a doctor who treats the condition.
The FDA also said that more than 6 million prescriptions for hair loss drugs have been written for the past five years in the U. alone.
The FDA reviewed studies on the drug's safety and efficacy, as well as studies conducted by several other drug companies.
The FDA also reviewed studies about the drug's potential side effects and found that it caused men with male pattern baldness who were taking it to reduce their chances of getting a second or third head of hair. The study was funded by the company.
The study found that the drug was not safe in most men who were taking the drug. In some cases, it caused permanent loss of hair, according to the FDA.
The FDA has advised doctors to avoid the use of the drug for patients with hereditary hair loss.
The drug is available under several brand names, including Propecia and Proscar.
The FDA said it is "reviewing these reports and will continue to take necessary actions to ensure that the information received is accurate and up-to-date."

Are you suffering from hair loss and looking to get a new hair color? It's not that difficult to get a hair color in person without a doctor's prescription. However, hair loss is a significant concern for many people, especially those in their early 30s or younger. Here are the top options to help you achieve a fuller head of hair.
1. Finasteride:This medication is used to treat male pattern baldness or hair loss and is available as an oral solution. Finasteride is a type of drug called a 5α-reductase inhibitor. Finasteride works by preventing the conversion of testosterone into DHT, a hormone that is responsible for hair follicle miniaturization. This helps to slow down or even reverse the process of hair loss and helps to regrow hair. In some cases, a physician may prescribe this medication, but in others, it may not be suitable. It is important to consult with a doctor before starting any new hair loss treatment, and to discuss your medical history in detail.
2. Propecia:This medication may be used to treat male pattern hair loss. It is a type of drug called a 5α-reductase inhibitor. Propecia is a brand of generic finasteride, which is a type of 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It works by blocking the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and also blocks the production of testosterone. By reducing the amount of DHT, Propecia helps to slow down or even reverse hair loss and may help to prevent further hair loss. However, it is important to discuss with a doctor about any other medications you are taking.
3. Hair loss surgery:It is important to talk to a doctor before starting any new hair loss treatment. A hair loss specialist may prescribe medications such as minoxidil (Rogaine), finasteride, or tretinoin (Proscar). These medications are taken orally and can help to promote hair regrowth. They are also available over the counter. If you are a patient who has hair loss, your doctor will likely recommend an oral medication for your needs. This medication is known as Finasteride and works by reducing the amount of DHT in the body. Finasteride is usually taken once daily, while Propecia is taken twice daily. It is important to note that Propecia does not work for everyone and may be used for other medical conditions, such as prostate cancer. It is also important to discuss any other medical conditions or medications you are taking with your doctor before starting treatment with this medication.
4. Hair transplant surgery:It is important to discuss with a doctor before undergoing hair transplant surgery. This surgery takes place in a medical setting, such as in a hospital or in a clinic. It is not a surgical procedure and is not a cure for hair loss. It is always best to consult with a doctor before undergoing any hair transplant surgery.
5. Minoxidil:Minoxidil is an over-the-counter medication used to treat hair loss. It works by stimulating hair growth and also decreasing hair loss. Minoxidil is available as a prescription medication, but is often prescribed for other conditions such as hair loss. It is important to discuss with your doctor about any other medications you are taking.

How does the hair on your head grow?On average your hair grows about 1 centimetre (half an inch) each month. Hair growsfrom hair follicles, which are located under your skin.
A single scalp hair grows continuously for 2-4 years (growth phase) and then stopsgrowing for 2-4 months (rest phase). After this the hair falls out. In its place a newhealthy hair begins to grow, and the cycle is repeated. The hairs on your scalp arealways in different stages of this cycle so it is normal to lose scalp hair every day.
What is male pattern hair loss?
Male pattern hair loss is a common condition in which men experience thinning of thehair on the scalp, often resulting in a receding hairline and/or balding on the top of thehead. This condition is thought to be caused by a combination of genetic factors and aparticular hormone, DHT (dihydrotestosterone).
DHT causes a decrease in the growth phase and thinning of the hair (see picture). Thisleads to male pattern hair loss. These changes can start to occur in some men in their20s and become more common with age. Once hair loss has occurred over a longperiod of time, the hair may be permanently lost.

This is why it is important to keep the number of men with male pattern hair loss to a minimum to stimulate new healthy hair.
DHT (dihydrotestosterone) causes a decrease in the growth phase and thinning of the hair (see picture). This helps to stop the hair from regrowing itself. Once hair has come back from the previous phase of the hair cycle the hair may be again grow out (see picture).
Hair loss on your scalp can be reversed in a few days. The hair loss phase is completed in 3 months or less. 3 months or less. This medication is used to decrease the ability of DHT to increase the growth phase and thinning of the hair (see picture).

Finasteride is used to decrease the ability of DHT to increase the growth phase and thinning of the hair (see picture).
A drug known as a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT can then be absorbed through the skin and stimulates the growth of hair.
Finasteride can also prevent the conversion of testosterone to DHT which can then trigger the cycle of the male hormone Dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
Finasteride also has other effects as well such as decreased sperm count and the ability to have fertilisation by human embryonic-line (FES)11 cells. As a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, Propecia does not affect the cycle of the male hormone DHT.
